Purple Smoke Machine is a band that formed not so long ago on the halls of Prince Claus Conservatorium by the former members Maria Suciu (vocals) and Siddharth Shankar (guitar). Once the discussions accompanying cigarette breaks revealed the same passion for neo-soul, groove and funk, they decided to unite their forces with Lija Markunaite (piano) , Jake Klamburg (drums) and J.T. Hwang (bass) and put up a show.
